Orgarnisers promise bigger and better Carnival Sprint

On Sunday drivers tested their machines as they prepare to hunt for victory in the sprint

Cedric Buzabo the event manager of this year's KCCA Carnival Rally Sprint has promised a bigger and better organised sprint this year's race that'll be held on a 2.3km Naguru track on October 7th.

Buzabo told New Vision Sport that the track has been completed and drivers have already started training as they give feedback.

"We have finished a 2.3km single track. The drivers are training and will give us feedback to see where we can modify but at the moment I can assure you the track is good and very technical for the fans to enjoy," Buzabo said.

On Sunday drivers including Yassin Nasser, Rauf Adam, Samuel Bwete, Hassan Alwi and Christakis Fitidis tested their machines as they prepare to hunt for victory in the sprint.

Ronald Ssebuguzi, Arthur Blick Jr, Ambrose Byona, Omar Mayanja and Musa Kabega are all expected to take part.

"We have got a team of the most experienced officials to manage the event and we are confident that it is going to be the best," Byona who also doubles as the chairman organising committee said.

Kampala Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago is expected to officially launch the event.
