After a rather shocking 69-65 loss to the Ndejje Angels two weeks ago, Betway Power was not about to lose another game, this time to Our Saviour over the weekend at YMCA.
Coach Arnold Lando's side fought against all odds to register a 70-65 win when Our Saviour looked on course to inflict more misery on Power.
Lando's side was off to a slow start, trailing 16-17 by the end of the first quarter.
By half time, they had managed to up the ante edging the 2nd quarter 10-6 and rode on that momentum to control the game in the third quarter.
Our Saviour however struck back to win the 4th quarter 14-19 to force overtime.
It was during overtime that Lando's charges responded emphatically, blowing away Our Saviour to secure a much needed win.
Micheal Makiadi scored a game high 23 points and 12 rebounds while Peter Odong and Issac Afidra added 13 and 8 points respectively.
Denis Opolot top scored for Our Saviour with 19 points and six rebounds while Samuel Mwesigwa added nine points.
UCU Canons also saw off their Ndejje in a 64-56 beating while KIU Titans thumped UPDF 94-46.
