As Uganda Cranes return home on Friday morning from Egypt, Hassan Wasswa is one of the players that won't be part of the contingent.

The powerful midfielder has completed a move to Egypt's Al Gaish FC in two year deal.

"It's my hard work and dedication that has made me reach here. They saw my worth and what I can do. I'm privileged to be in one of the best countries in terms of football. So I have to show them that I'm not here by mistake," stated Wasswa.

Wasswa who had short stint with Al Akhaa Al Ahli from Lebanon added, "I had issues with the Lebanese club that's why I moved on."

Wasswa formerly played at Iraqi side Al Shorta as well as at Vipers last season on a six-month deal.

Sources in the Cranes camp also indicate that midfielder Khalid Aucho is also likely to make a move to an Egyptian club.
