Oyo opens farmers' expo ahead of Empango

The expo which attracted hundreds of farmers, innovators and entrepreneurs is being hosted at Bukwali in East division Fort Portal municipality.

The King of Toro Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru has today opened a one week farmers’ expo ahead of his 22nd coronation anniversary.

The expo which attracted hundreds of farmers, innovators and entrepreneurs is being hosted at Bukwali in East division Fort Portal municipality.

During the launch today King Oyo called on all his subjects to embrace farming as a back bone of their economic empowerment.

He also cautioned his subjects to desist from deforestation and all other forms of environmental degradation.

The King’s 22nd coronation anniversary is slated for 16th September at Karuzika Palace.
