The Uganda Judicial Officers' Association (UJOA) in their extra ordinary general meeting today resolved to suspend their strike to enable the Government finalise the promises made to them by justice minister Kahinda Otafiire.

The officers went on strike protesting over poor pay and their industrial action had paralysed work in the courts countrywide.

The effect of their resolution means that courts are now open for business.
