Six declare interest in Pallisa Woman MP seat

Six women have so far declared interest to vie for the Pallisa Woman Member of Parliament seat.

They are; Faith Alupo, Josephine Ibaseret, Carl Kevin Ojiga, Janet Margaret and Mike Magadaline Anyakorit of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party and Catherine Achola of Forum for Democratic Change (FDC).

The seat fell vacant after the former Woman MP, Agnes Ameede, shifted to the newly-created Butebu district in the same position.
