Ugandans were on top of their game as the second round of the Kenya Premier League got underway

The second round that commenced with nine games saw Sofapaka under the guidance of coach Sam Ssimbwa beat Muhoroni Youth 3-2 at Muhoroni stadium.

Sofapaka opened the score through Maurice Odipo's header before former URA FC player Feni Ali doubled the lead to make it 2-0 at half time.

At the start of second half, Ambrose Ayoyi scored for Muhoroni Youth before former SC Villa striker Umar Kasumba made it 3-1 in favour of Sofapaka.

But in stoppage time, another Ugandan, Hassan Kikoyo scored another consolation for Mohoroni.

The victory took Sofapaka to 5th on the table with 28points while Muhoroni youth remained bottom with 15 points.

Meanwhile, former Paidha Black Angels striker Villa Oromchan was on target as his side Western Stima settled for 1 all draw with AFC Leopards while coach George ‘Best' Nsimbe's Tusker lost 1-0 to ten man Posta Rangers.

Gor Mahia beat Nakumatt 1-0 to extend their lead in the league to 34 points
