Nursery school children die in tragic accident

Two children from Waterloo International Kindergarten in Seeta, Mukono district died Wednesday morning after a faulty fuel trailer rammed into the school gate where they were standing.

Joseph Ilakut, 5, and Jean Kansiimire, 3, were in the company of their caretaker.

The siblings died on the spot while their caretaker sustained serious injuries.
    

Paul Kadogo, the officer in charge of Seeta Police station said the incident happened at 9:00am.

"We are investigating the matter and shall produce the driver to court thereafter," Kadogo said.

He identified the driver as Charles Oloo who is in police custody.
