The Serbian coach quit the Uganda Cranes over the weekend

Milutin ‘Micho' Sredojevic's move to South African giants Orlando Pirates could become a reality.

This after the club's headcoach, Kjell Jonevret, tendered in his resignation today.

"I would like to thank the club for the opportunity. Unfortunately it didn't work out as planned. I wish the club and its supporters all the best for the future," said Jonevret in comments posted by the social media platforms.

Jonevret hailed club chairman Dr Irvin Khoza, the club and its supporters for giving him an opportunity to coach the team.

"I wish Kjell Jonevret well in his future endeavors" Khoza said.

Micho on Saturday terminated his contract as Cranes head coach after FUFA reportedly failed to clear his outstanding salary arrears.

Ever since his exit, many sources have linked the Serbian to Pirates that he coached in 2006.
