Former KCCA FC player Akinyemi joins Zambian side

Akinyemi has signed a two year contract with Zambian side Buildcon FC.

Nigerian midfielder Sulaimon Akinyemi has become the latest player to leave reigning champions KCCA.

Akinyemi has signed a two year contract with Zambian side Buildcon FC.

Akinyemi who joined KCCA in 2015 had little playing time under coach Mike Mutebi side. He was vital in the 2015/2016 season as KCCA went on to win the league title.

Builcon FC is also home to other Ugandans Isaac Isinde and Boban Zirintusa.

Apart from Akinyemi and Sserunkuma, Tom Masiko and Ivan Ntege are the other players that have left KCCA who won a double last season. Masiko joined Vipers while Ntege signed  for Botswana's Township Rollers.
