Night cricket: Usman Muhhammed fuels Cosmos win

Usman Muhammed was every inch the star of the show as Cosmos Warriors came up big against winless Abacus at Lugogo Oval in the ongoing KBSC Premier League Season 5 Rainbow Cup.

The sallying batsman's half ton knock ( 54) ensured he took his tally to an undefeated 208 having posted the first and currently only century of the tournament (154) against Jiya Xi on Saturday night.

His performance helped cosmos move the scoreboard to what proved to be extreme points for Abacus Xi who failed to chase the score.

Cosmos are now leading the group A table with 8 points from two games off their card in the exciting night cricket season. They are four points better of holders Pak Stallions who have played a game less.

Earlier in the night, Hunza Warriors made amends defeating Lohana Xi by 7 wickets, a recovery from a 7 runs loss against the defending Champions PAK Stallions on Friday.

Haseeb Afsar stepped to the occasion and his half ton of 55 from 29 balls made a huge difference for his side who chased the game to win by 7 wickets.
