I'm an ex-convict, am I a bad father?

Jul 26, 2017

What hurts me is that my children know the other man as their father. When I try to meet them, their mother brands me a bad influence to them.

I was arrested 11 years ago on corruption and abuse of office charges; however I was released before completing my term for exhibiting good manners.

What I started with after my release was to look for my family and thank God, I located them.

Unfortunately, my ex-wife who got married to another man refused me to go near our three children not even to introduce myself to them as their father.

I admit I have been away for long but I still have rights over my children and I want to reunite with my family because I feel incomplete.

What hurts me is that my children know the other man as their father. When I try to meet them, their mother brands me a bad influence to them.

I desperately want to be with my children. What should I do?
