Standard Chartered Bank Uganda re-launches the priority banking customer value proposition

Priority Banking is our Premium Banking client segment that focuses on providing banking solutions with our signature service to the affluent clients.



Standard Chartered Bank has re-launched its Priority Banking Customer Value Proposition (CVP). This is a priority awareness campaign that will run for three months and will unveil several offerings, benefits and great prizes for various stakeholders.

Priority Banking is our Premium Banking client segment that focuses on providing banking solutions with our signature service to the affluent clients. We launched it in 2010 and over the last 7 years, have consistently built the brand within the market.

With this proposition, our clients can enjoy the following benefits;
 Seamless high-quality everyday banking - As a Priority Client, one gets the Standard Chartered Visa Infinite Debit Card. With this card, we offer complementary access to over 800 airport lounges worldwide, multi-travel Insurance cover and extended warranty on purchased items.  The client also have access to 24-hour concierge services that provide you with a personal assistant who can be reached digitally or by phone, get Hilton Gold membership, access to the Visa Luxury Hotel Collection (VLHC) of over 900 hotels, YQ - Airport meet and assist service, 35% discount on AVIS, and 7% discount on Agoda.com when booking global hotels.

Growing your wealth and financing your property - We lend up to UGX 1.5 Billion or the equivalent in foreign currency for the sole purpose of acquiring residential property. In this case we extend up to 90% of the value of the property capped at the maximum loan value.  Clients also have the option to release equity from property they already own for access to funds that they can then invest elsewhere. We work closely with some of the best Property Developers in the market to give our clients the best possible property options.  We shall offer USD Home loans at an annual interest rate of 8% (4% below our prime lending rate of 12% p.a) for Home loans taken before 30th September 2017.

Making global banking simple - Clients travelling, working overseas or relocating can take advantage of our international network for their global banking and Wealth and Property Financing needs. Clients can enjoy cash withdrawals at no additional charge from our ATMs when they travel.
