Uganda ranked 6th fastest growing investment destination

Uganda has been ranked 6th among the 25 African top and fastest growing investment destinations.


The rankings were done by researchers under Ernest and Young Attractiveness Program.


The Uganda Investment Authority's head Jolly Kaguhangire attributted the achievement to favourable policies by the government.


Kaguhangire also confirmed withdrawing over 52 land acreage in Namanve and Soroti from the investors who could not use it.


She said by 2025, 1million jobs will have been created.
