Miguel wants the players to be at their best.

Vipers head coach Miguel Da Costa has released part of their pre-season schedule ahead of the 2017/2018 season.

Miguel who returned last week from a one-month holiday, wants the players to be at their best in the coming season.

"The holiday is over and we must be ready to work, work and work harder this time," Da Costa told the players.

Apart from the players currently with the national team, the rest of the players are expected to turn up for the first training session on Monday.

Starting tomorrow up to Friday, a double training session will be followed. On Saturday, the team will undergo only one training session then Sunday they rest.

"We expect the players to adhere to the various programs that we shall give them. The facilities are available and ready for use. So all the players will stay here for sometime as we train. We must make some sacrifices if we want to win the championship," Miguel added.

Vipers didn't walk away with any silverware after finishing third last season in the Azam Uganda Premier League and they were also eliminated in the quarterfinal of the Uganda Cup by Paidha Black Angels.
