Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho' Sredojevic  is opitmtisc that his squad is in good shape  to face  a Western  select team in the Uganda Cranes regional tour  at Kabale Municipal Stadium this  Saturday.

"It is a very good squad and I expect them to deliver on Saturday. The players know the value of this match. I will also keep a close eye on the players from the Western region team," Micho said after naming a final 23 man squad that on Friday left for Kabale.

During the match, the players will wear black armbands in the honour of the late football administrators John Ssebaana Kizito (former FUFA Chairman) and former Treasurer Michael Okiror who passed on early this week. They will also be a minute of silence before the game.

Okiror was laid to rest on Thursday in Atutur, Kumi District while Ssebaana will be buried on Saturday.

After the Saturday engagement, Cranes will face South Sudan next in a two legged CHAN 2018 first round qualifiers on July 14th and 22.

Thereafter they will face Egypt in August at home in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kampala.
