Bobi Wine shares meal with supporters

Kyadondo East MP elect Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu on Saturday excited his voters in Kasangati trading center when he shared with them a meal of roasted meat out of a Bull that had been offered to him by Boda boda riders in the area.

The Boda operators bought a bull and donated it to Bobi wine as a way of congratulating him, but instead he asked them to slaughter it so that they can share it together in happiness.

At around 5pm yesterday, he joined the crowd, addressed them, danced with them, sung for them, and later served them with roasted meat amidst happiness.

"I might not be able to directly feed all of you, but I promise to solicit whatever I can and also represent your views where you sent me to see that we yield in plenty" He said.

Earlier in the day, bobi wine went to Kasangati police station and negotiated with police to release some of the detainees who were arrested on the polling day, and though he was successful there, his campaign manager Tonny Ssempeebwa the Mayor of Kasangati town council was not successful in doing the same for those who are up to now still detained at Kira division police station.

"This is the reason why I am not fully inserted into jubilations and happiness. So please bear with me" He added.

Meanwhile the MP elect commenced his new responsibility even before being sworn in as MP.

Today he was joined by the Uganda North American Association (UNAA) president Monday Atigo and other leaders in the association to deliver maternity ward hospital mattresses to Kasangati health center IV.

The mattresses were donated by Ugandans in North America, but they decided to request Bobi wine to officially hand them over to the beneficiaries as a way of congratulating him for his recent victory.

"We are ready to bring more things that will help you develop your people, because the work of an MP is not to buy things, but represent views of the voters and also solicit for them. We are going to offer our hand in that part of soliciting" Atigo assured Bobi Wine.

Moses Lukwago another leader in UNAA said that they are giving out more mattresses in different government health centers in Lira, Mayuge, western Uganda and other parts in the central.

Bobi wine, thanked UNAA for sacrificing to help fellow Ugandans, and also pledged to work with them throughout his leadership for the good of all Ugandans.

He then went to Panamera bar in Lugogo where he participated in a car was campaign to raise more than 2 million shillings for treatment of a musician Daniel Mukisa Alias Danz Kampesa who was recenty attacked and beaten to near death.

Kamapesa currently lies in deep pain at Nsambya hospital intensive care unit.

Bobi wine washed vehicles and also pledged 1 million shillings for the cause.
