Bride & Groom Expo: The gift that keeps giving

BRIDE & GROOM EXPO 2017

Promises were made, and promises were delivered.

A staked, sh80m fantasy wedding, free trip for two, and best exhibitors award, the fashion show and yes a lingerie show, all were delivered. Oh yes, it was the Bride and Groom expo weekend, and Vision Group had earlier promised things and these were delivered.

The free trip for two by Travel Company, Round Bob, was won by a one Gloria Nakato won. There was a promise to single out the best exhibitors and it was delivered. Star events, came third and got a quarter page worth of advertising in the magazine and 30% off of their stall fees covered in next year's expo.

Flex events walked away with 50% of their stall catered for next year and half a page in the Magazine for coming second. And then the Kenya Tourism Board emerged the best exhibitor. This came with a free stall in next year's Bride and Groom and a free advert with Bride and Groom Magazine.

To crown it all, Rhita Namugumya and Alex Amwine won a sh80 million wedding. Yes, all expenses paid wedding and honeymoon courtesy of Vision Group and the many sponsors. These included, Pepsi, Silk events, Pilplan, Marasa Africa, Malachi, Princess of beauty salon, Cake Studio, Silk events, Chobe safari lodge, Sister's bridal among others. "I thank God for having made this for us!" an ecstatic Amwine said.
