Schools in Arua close over Uganda Cup final

Onduparaka Primary School pupils have been sent home due to the noise from fans of the two rival teams.

The Uganda Cup final between KCCA FC and Paidha Black Angels has disrupted several activities in Arua town.

Apart from businesses, schools too haven't been spared.

 Onduparaka Primary School pupils have been sent home due to the noise from fans of the two rival teams.

Stanley Nyakuni, a teacher at the school told New Vision that the Uganda cup final at Green Light Stadium had forced them to send children home.

 The Police and UPDF have been deployed at Green Light Stadium 

Nyakuni said much as the school administration and the pupils benefit by watching the match free of charge, their academic attendance is affected.

The school has an enrollment of 1,501 pupils.
