Batte to officiate Uganda Cup Final

Uganda Cup Final: Paidha Black Angels v KCCA

FUFA Referees Standing Committee (FRSC) has appointed Denis Batte to officiate the Uganda Cup final between KCCA and Paidha Black Angels tomorrow at Green Light Stadium in Arua.

Batte will be the centre referee assisted by Mark Ssonko and Samuel Kayondo as the first and second assistants. Alex Muhabi will be the fourth official.

The FUFA Uganda Cup is the oldest knock out competition in the country.

Despite winning or losing the final, Paidha will represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.

This is because KCCA who won the league recently will be Uganda's CAF Champions League representatives.

And according to the rules, KCCA can't take part in the both continental tournaments.
