Uganda Cup Final: Paidha Black Angels v KCCA

FUFA Competitions Committee has insisted that the Uganda Cup Final will go ahead as scheduled despite the late arrival of the Uganda Cranes.

The final between KCCA and Paidha Black Angels is slated for Thursday at Green Light Stadium in Arua.

Of the Cranes team that arrived in the country in the wee hours of Tuesday morning from Cape Verde, six are KCCA players.

"The final is on. KCCA have upcoming CAF matches so we don't want to create congestion when postponing the final," stated the committee director Ali Mwebe

The Lugogo side travels to Arua today evening.

"We shall have to wait for some of our players so that we travel as a team on Tuesday,"said David Tamale the KCCA FC CEO.

KCCA who are on course to win their ninth Uganda Cup trophy, have lost the last four finals; in 2015, 2014, 2007 and 2005.
