FUFA Women Cup: UCU v Olila 

UCU Lady Cardinals have been boosted by the return to action of goalkeeper Cissy Nakiguba. 

Nakiguba who was not part of the UCU side that lost 4-0 to Kawempe in the FUFA Women Elite League final on Sunday makes a timely return after sustaining an injury in the 2-1 win over Uganda Martyrs in the play-offs last Wednesday. 

She is expected to be between the goalposts as UCU hosts Olila from Soroti in the second semi-final of the FUFA Women Cup today in Mukono. 

"It's a big boost for us as we head in today's game. It's an important game for us this season. In one way or other if we put our brains together then we can focus of winning the trophy," stated UCU coach Tony Membe. 

Despite finishing the season fourth, Olila were one of the sides that were in good nick before the league ended. 

"We are going to try our best in today's game. We want to improve on the performance we displayed in the league," stated Olila team manager Sam Abonged.
