Three shortlisted for MAK Vice-Chancellor post

Makerere University has shortlisted three people for the Vice-Chancellor position.

The three candidates are Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe , Prof. Edward Kasujja Kirumira and Prof. Venansius Baryamureeba.

"The shortlisted candidates are undergoing interviews this week. We are all aware how important the Vice-Chancellor search is to the future of Makerere University and the education sector as a whole," the chairperson, Vice-Chancellor search committee 2017, Irene Ovonji Odida said in a press release.

"We therefore advise all stakeholders in the search process and especially shortlisted candidates to comply with the guidelines as provided in the advert for recruitment. Any non-compliance will be dealt with firmly."

The candidates are scheduled to make public presentations on Thursday June, 15 in the University Main Hall, from 9:00am to 1:00pm.
