FUFA elections: the new SIG delegates

UGANDAN FOOTBALL
Former players Paul Ssali Mukisa and Stone Kyambadde have returned (unopposed) as the coaches' delegates during the FUFA elections for the Special Interest Groups.
Ssali and Kyambadde will represent Uganda Football Coaches Association (UFCA) during the FUFA Assembly that will elect the new FUFA president in Masindi in August.
On the same note, Edward Kalungi and Paul Mukatabala sailed through unopposed as the two representatives for the players Uganda Football Players Association (UFPA).
Deo Mutabazi and Anthony Tumwesigye were elected beach soccer delegates (Uganda Beach Soccer Association) while John Bosco Matisko and Farouk Kigongo also returned unopposed as the youth delegates (Uganda Youth Football Association).
FUFA Electoral Committee Vice Chairperson Yusuf Awuye handled the players and coaches' election while Stanley Kinene was in charge of the Uganda Beach Soccer Association election.
Following the elections from the District Football Associations (DFA), Regional Football Associations (RFA) and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), focus will now be shifted to delegates that will represent women football in the assembly.
Thereafter will be nomination for the FUFA Executive that is scheduled June 10 to June 22.
