The Ministry of Water & Environment has allocated funds for the procurement of Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study and Design of Mega Irrigation schemes under:-

The overall objective of the study is to provide a range of options for multipurpose water supply and irrigation development in a manner that is technically feasible, financially responsible, and environmentally sustainable and based on a workable and cost effective management.

The successful consultant will carry out relevant technical investigations and studies comprising of water resources assessment, socio-economic assessment, agronomy studies, topographical surveys, geotechnical investigations and hydraulic studies and prepare engineering designs and cost estimates and perform financial and economic analysis which will form the basis for investment finance mobilization and project implementation for the various sub-projects to be identified by the study
