Meddie Kyeyuyune was on top of his game as Kooki thrashed Ssese 5-1 in Group B at Lwanda Army playground in Rakai district in the Airtel Buganda Masaza Cup on Sunday.

Sunday Gerrard and Jimmy Kiwanuka also scored for Kooki while Hassan Katumba was on target for Ssese.

Kyeyune moved his tally to four goals as the first phase of the group games came to an end.

In other group B matches, Kabula and Mawogola settled for a 1 all  draw at  Bakijjulula. 2008 winners Kyadondo drew 1-1 with Buvuma in Group A at Phillip Omondi stadium,Lugogo.

Edison Walinga opened the  lead for the visitors before Owen Kasule levelled the matters for Kyadondo.
