Sharp FC qualifies for FUFA Big League

Sharp FC from Kabale district earned promotion to next season's FUFA Big League.

This comes  after the side from  South Western Uganda beat Rushere FC 2-1 from Kiruhura district at Kyamate grounds in Ntungamo Municipality to win the Western regional title.

Cleophus Fiat opened the scoring for Sharp in the 47th minute before Ismail Luyombya equalized for Rushere in  the 67 minutes through  a penalty. Jonhson Tumuramye put Sharp FC ahead with six minutes to normal time.

Sharp FC will be the second side from Kabale to play in the second tier local league after Creamland that qualified in the 2012/2013 season but never completed the season.
