NBS in trouble over Tamale Mirundi show

Uganda Communications Commission has suspended NBS TV's program one on one with Tamale Mirundi for breach of minimum broadcasting standards.


Mirundi is said to have used abusive language against Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga and Buganda Land Board executive chairman, Kiwalabye Male over the controversial lease policy launched recently.

Mirundi also attempted to fight the host whom he accused of receiving a bribe from Mengo to defend the lease policy which he said intends to exploit tenants.

According to the statement signed by UCC's executive director, Godfrey Mutabazi, NBS has 60 days to submit defence.
