The Opportunity:

LivingGoods has developed and proven a cost effective, highimpact community health care model using a business-minded focus on innovation, paired with critical public health delivery.

As we have grown, with more than 2,000 Community Health Promoters across 18 districts planned for next year, ensuring effective quality and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) is paramount.

We seek an innovative Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with a deep understanding of M&E and Quality Assurance to join our team and lead our strategy development and implementation of effective M&E processes.

This new role will be based in Kampala and will manage the M&E team and coordinate with the various teams on a range of initiatives to inform program implementation and drive continual performance and quality improvement.

The M&E Manager will work with the Director of Health, to develop client survey mechanisms, data analysis to inform and improve fi eld performance, and support to fi eld teams to foster continuous quality improvement.

The goal is to ensure that world-class community health services are provided across the network on a continuous basis as we grow. The ideal candidate is a data-driven, detail-oriented individual with experience managing M&E, field assessments, design and implementation of quality improvement interventions and client satisfaction surveys.

Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Kampala Uganda

Reports to: Deputy Director, Regional Business Development 

The Opportunity

LivingGoods is on a rapid growth trajectory - we plan to expand our coverage from 1.9 million people to reach 5.8 million people, almost tripling in size by 2020.

To support these ambitious goals, the Living Goods Business Development team will have to raise signifi cant funds from bilateral, multilateral and institutional donors in the US and globally.

As such the Business Development Team at Living Goods is growing quickly, to include a new position that supports our growing prospects.

We are seeking a passionate individual with a strong track record of delivering results to join our fundraising team to farther develop and build out our pipeline of funding opportunities.

This is a tremendous opportunity to be a part of an innovative, dynamic and collaborative team that is looking to scale thoughtfully but ambitiously.

The position will focus on external facing relationship building with key bilateral, multilateral and institutional donors and implementing partners at the regional and country level with a focus on Kenya and Uganda.

The candidate will also be expected to secure new grants by tracking and scoping priority opportunities, building partnerships with implementers as needed, and shepherding opportunities through to proposal submission— this will include internal tasks such as proposal writing, program design, budgeting, and the preparation of supplementary documentation.

This position will require an exceptional eye for detail, a strong sense of professional judgment and responsibility, and solid writing and communications skills.
