Maroons on the brink of Azam Premier League return

Maroons are a point away from qualifying for the Azam Uganda Premier League.

The Luzira based side hosts Kyambogo today in the Elgon group in the FUFA Big League.

Maroons are currently top of the group with 42 points, three above second placed Ndejje University.

If they secure the point, they will join Masavu from Entebbe who were the first team to be promoted.

The Maroons versus Kyambogo was supposed to be played two weeks ago but the game was postponed after Kyambogo announced that their goalkeeper Ronald Kiggundu had died.
