Makerere University guild elections started on a peaceful note on Friday April 07, 2017. Fourteen candidates were vying for the top post. They include Ruth Nsubuga (NRM), Paul Kato (FDC), William Karamagi (DP) Abdul Ziritwawula (Independent), Mercy Lakisa (indep), Andrew Ssentale (Indep),Doreen Arituha (Indep) and several others
