Uganda v French Army (on Saturday)

Hassan Mawanda Wasswa will captain the Uganda Cranes team in today's international friendly match against neighbours Kenya at the Jomo Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Head coach Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic released his starting eleven against the Harambee Stars indicating Wasswa as the skipper.

On-form players Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Emmanuel Okwi will  lead Cranes attacking line. Both players have so far scored 19 goals in the Azam Uganda Premier League.

After today's game, Cranes will host the French military team in another friendly match this Saturday at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

Both build-up games are preparing the Cranes for the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers that are slated for next month.  But the finals will be held in Kenya next year.
