Buganda prepares for Kabaka's birthday

On April 14, the King of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi will be marking his 62nd birthday.

This year's celebrations, the Katikiro Charles Mayiga says will take place at Lubiri High School Buloba, in Busiro County.

 Mayiga told the Buganda Assembly (Lukiiko) in Mengo yesterday, that preparations are already ongoing .

A head of the main event, will be prayers in different churches and mosques and community service (Bulungi Bwansi).

Games including; bicycle riding, squash, board chess, golf, volley ball, swimming and Kabaka's birthday run among others.

Mayiga said this year's Kabaka's birthday proceeds will be dedicated to creating awareness on Sickle cell disease.
