First round: Return leg

Platinum Stars v Vipers (Saturday)

Striker Erisa Ssekisambu and midfielder Brian Nkuubi will be available for selection ahead of Vipers return leg this Saturday against Platinum Stars in South Africa.

The duo had picked injuries during the CAF Confederation Cup first leg which Vipers won 1-0 at their newly established St Mary's Stadium Kitende last weekend.

But they were cleared by the club's medical team after looking positive in the training sessions.

On the same note, defender Aggrey Madoi returned to the team's  training session to  give more  competition to fellow leftback Dan Birikwalira.

Madoi had been given leave after the death of his father.

Vipers travel to South Africa for their return leg on Thursday morning.

This is the second consecutive year Vipers is taking part in CAF engagements. Last year they took part in the CAF Champions League but were eliminated in the preliminary round by Nigeria side Enyimba.
