Ochaya joins Lusaka Dynamos

He will feature for KCCA in their return leg in the CAF Champions League against Mamelodi Sundowns

Joseph Ochaya has completed his move to Zambian side, Lusaka Dynamos in a two year deal.

Ochaya who did not return with KCCA on Saturday after their 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns finalized the deal worth $120,000 (sh432m) on Sunday before returning home on Monday.

"It's true Ochaya joined Lusaka Dynamos. We could have wanted him to stay with us but if an opportunity comes you not deny him" stated club CEO David Tamale.

Tamale added that Ochaya will feature for KCCA in their return leg in the CAF Champions League against Mamelodi Sundowns this Saturday at Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo as his last game for the defending league champions.

The club Ochaya is joining was relegated last season from Zambia's top flight.

Brian Majwega, Paul Musamali, Habib Kavuma and Isaac Muleme will be some of the options KCCA coach Mike Mutebi will look at in the left-back role in his absence. 

Ochaya's departure comes after he was voted the best player in the league and at his club last season. ​
