Ndejje University Elite women volleyball team coach Johnson Kawenyera believes his side, once well-prepared, can post good results in the Africa Club Volleyball Championship due next month in Tunisia.

With this in mind, Kawenyera has lined up a number of friendly matches with local Serie A teams to help him perfect his game structure and approach before the tournament.

"We are doing well. The girls are responding well in training but the friendlies will help us perfect our game plans and approach to different situations."

After the Joan Cox Volleyball Championship where they beat Sport S 3-2 in the final, Ndejje will on Thursday face Nkumba University in Lubowa, before taking on a combined side of Vision Volleyball Club and Nemo Stars later in the week.

Kawenyera believes that playing these local rivals is another way of testing both his team's strength and also fitness levels besides perfecting the team game plan.
