Dokolo gears up for Women's Day celebrations

All is set for the women's day celebrations today at Dokolo Technical School in Dokolo district.

His Excellency the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to be the chief guest.

 
Different dignitaries from the East African region too are expected.

This year's theme is Women empowerment in the changing world of work.

Women's day is celebrated every 8th of March globally to recognize the struggles a woman goes through in her day-to-day life.

Several people will also receive Medals. Some bikes will also be given out.
