The tours dubbed Cranes Na Mutima campaign are meant to draw Ugandans across the country close to the national football team

This year's Uganda Cranes regional tour rolls off with a trip to Kamuli where the team will play a select side on March 18th.

According to the year's program that FUFA has drawn, the regional tours jointly sponsored by Airtel and Nile Breweries will be staged in March, June, September and October 2017.

The tours dubbed Cranes Na Mutima campaign are meant to draw Ugandans across the country close to the national football team, identify with their favourite players on the team as well as spot new talent.

FUFA president Moses Magogo has described the tour as a perfect channel to reach every Uganda Cranes fan and grant them the opportunity to interact with the national team.

On Wednesday Cranes coach, Micho Sredejovic, hopes to name a squad of home based players and foreign based ones available to prepare for the tour as Uganda gears up for an international friendly against Kenya's Harambee Stars in Nairobi on March 21st
