Aziz Damani are slowly hitting their stride towards the top. A cricket club that started some two years ago has now graduated into a sports club.

They have taken a new step by incorporating other sports disciplines mainly football, tennis and badminton into their brand.

There's nothing to stop the moneyed Damani from hitting the big time soon especially now that they are going into football - the most popular sport in the country.

In the furtherance they have also turned philanthropists by promising to adopt a poorly conditioned school and construct for them a playing ground, toilets and benches.

"Our strategic plan is well spelled out as we intend to spread our wings to the greater sports locally; football. There is no turning back; this is our moment as we also intend to capture the Jazz Safari National League," said Siva Kotti, the CEO of Aziz Damani Sports Club

They also officially unveiled new recruits Kenneth Waiswa and Emmanuel Isaneez from Nile and Patidar respectively at Lugogo Cricket Ground on Saturday.

Their financial muscle has also been boosted by up to now ten sponsors.

And of course after securing the services of Steven Tikolo as a coach player, they are ready to disrupt the established order in the top tier.
