We know how difficult it will be but we have come all the way with determination to fight on.

Captain Isma Lukooya is confident that Uganda corporate league representatives, Coca cola will go past the Kenya and Tanzanian hurdle to win a dream trip to the world final due in Anfield in May.

Three teams meet in the regional final of the to the Standard Chartered trophy on Saturday at the Jakaya Kikwete Junior in Tanzania.

Lukooya, who led his team to the national  event win  at Namboole last Saturday,  will be taking on Kenya's best Capital FM and Tanzania's best Azania in the one-day event, which will be played on a round robin basis.

"We know how difficult it will be but we have come all the way with determination to fight on. We are all focussed to give it our all and play as a team so that we achieve the best results. We are now holding Uganda's flag and our duty is to fly it higher," said Lukooya.

He will be leading a team of seven players in the five aside games that start at 9am and will be watched by Liverpool legend John Burns.

According to the country brand and marketing manager of standard chartered bank, Cynthia Mpanga, the tournament is aimed at giving Ugandans an opportunity to have a chance of a trip that no money can buy.

"The stakes are high as the winner will be travelling to Anfield to play in the world final and also watch the Liverpool -Middlesbrough match. It is an opportunity to fight and be part of a dream for all the players and we are looking forward to see that Uganda shines," noted Mpanga.
