Uganda Cup: Onduparaka labour past Mbarara

Onduparaka captain Mohammad Shaban missed a penalty

Onduparaka came from a goal down to eliminate home side Mbarara FC 2-1 in the round of 32 of the Uganda Cup on Tuesday evening.

Michael Muhangi gave the home side the lead before Dickens Okwi and Ceaser Okhuti struck in quick succession. 

Onduparaka captain Mohammad Shaban missed a penalty.

Elsewhere, an own goal from Yeseri Waibi helped URA to eject fellow topflight side BUL 1-0 at the Metha Stadium in Lugazi.

At Nakivubo, Police thrashed Saints 4-1 while JMC beat Ndejje University away in Luweero 6-5 on penalties after a goalless draw.

Meanwhile, Masavu thrashed Sun City 4-1 at Katabi Ground in the FUFA Big League.

Dumba Sadala struck a brace before Onesmus Andama and Charles Odeke added one each for Masavu.  

Patrick Kusemerwa scored a consolation for Sun City
