Ampaire who will up against Penninah Esther Nasozi in game five is placed in second position

Kireka club's board four player is sure of making it to Zone 4.2 African Chess Individual Championships slated for March 25-April 4 in Ethiopia.
 
Shakira Ampaire told New Vision that apart from Woman Fide Master (WFM) Ivy Amoko, the remaining five players in the Ladies' category for the qualifiers are no match for her.
 
"Considering that WFMs Christine Namaganda and Gorreti Angolikin didn't come for the qualifiers, I remain with only one person to compete with; Ivy Amoko," Amapire said.  

Ampaire who will up against Penninah Esther Nasozi in game five is placed in second position ahead of today's Phase two of the qualifiers at Makerere University Business School managed to win two games, drew one and lost to WFM Amoko in phase one of the qualifiers to collect 2.5 points in four games.
 
Nasozi is the other female player who stands a chance to finish in the top five. Nasozi finished third in phase one with 2.5 points.
