Sserunkuma has his target for the season in sight

KCCA FC striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma believes he is still on the course to reach his target of 20 goals for the season.

Sserunkuma who tops the Uganda Premier League's scoring charts with 10 goals was on target yet again as KCCA defeated BUL 2-0 to extend the atop the table to three points.

"At the beginning of the season, my target was 20 goals; I believe I am on course as long as I stay fit and avoid injuries" Sserunkuma said.

"I am delighted to get to doubles figures, it's a sign of hard work and commitment and the desire to do better for the team" he added.

KCCA now shifts is focus to the CAF Champions League tie against Angola's Club Primeiro De Agosto this Friday at Lugogo.

The winner will face defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the final preliminary round in March before heading to the group stages.​
