KCCA FC's Byekwaso sets sights on league return

The table toppers will host Onduparaka in their first game of the second round

KCCA FC assistant coach Morley Byekwaso believes his players are in good shape ahead of the second round of the Azam Uganda Premier League slated for February 7th.

"I am happy with the performance from the players and the fact that they all showed commitment regardless of the opposition," Byekwaso stated.

He was also impressed with team's 6-1 win over Koboko Rising Stars in the Uganda Cup on Saturday.

"I believe the test was timely for the team especially that the second round of the league is around the corner" Byekwaso added.

KCCA FC who top the table with 32 points will host Onduparaka in their first game of the second round on February 7th at Lugogo.

They then shift their focus to the CAF Champions League tie against Angola's Clube Desportivo 1º de Agosto.

KCCA will host the first leg between February 10-12 before travelling for return leg (February 17-19)​.
