Seeta remain unbeaten in their last three games.

MUKONO - Free Stars FC had to settle for a stalemate with Seeta United FC in a Buganda Regional League tie at UCU.

Sam Male's 10th minute goal put the hosts in front before Frank Senabulya leveled matters five minutes before half time.

It has been an indifferent run of five games without a win for Free Stars. They made five changes to the squad that lost to Kiwanga FC last Saturday, but that did not translate into a win for the hosts.

Meanwhile, Seeta remained unbeaten in their last three games, having collected seven points in that period.

Male took a long range shot outside the 18-yard box to open the scoring after poor clearance from the visitors' goal keeper.

John Muyizi would have doubled the lead but he was denied by the wood work after heading Joshua Aziku's cross from the right.

Aziku had replaced Akram Muzanyi who had returned from an illness.

Veteran Seeta team captain Senabulya nodded home the equalizer after being left unmarked during a corner kick.

Later on, Aziku failed to convert with only the keeper to beat. Surely, that would have given the hosts the edge.

The visitors concluded by maintaining discipline and defending in numbers against the marauding Free Stars attackers.

The result means that Free Stars are on eight points while Seeta move to 11 points, with one game remaining to the end of the first round.
