Youth football league starts January 5

The Uganda Youth football league (UYFL) in partnership with local communities has organized the Intercities U-17 Youth tournament with the aim of identifying, maturing and developing talent.

The event will kick off with preliminary rounds from January 5th to 10 2017 at centers of excellence. These centers include; Rubaga, Kawempe, Makindye,Nakawa and Kampala Central.

In Rubaga, they will use Wankulukuku stadium, Kadiba and Lungaujja while Kawempe will have Kanyanya, Kawanda,Kinawa and Nabweru  grounds  for the tournament.

In Makindye- Messi, Kabalagala, Kibuli Children school, Nsambya and Kasanga  KCC  will be the centres while Nakawa will have Kyambogo Collage, Luzira Prison,Kigowa P/S,Luzira SS grounds.

In Kampala, participants will have action at Buganda road P/S, Villa Park,Nakivubo Blue,Kamwokya,Kayida.

Other centers for the event include; Mukono , Jinja, Lugazi, Bombo, Entebbe, Nansana, Gayaza among others.
