KCCA goalkeeper Ochan signs new deal

Dec 27, 2016

Ochan is one of the few players to have played all the 15 games of the Premier League first round.

Benjamin Ochan has signed a one-year contract extension with top flight holders and table leaders KCCA FC.

The club said on social media that the goal stopper would stay at the club until early 2018.

"Goalie Benjamin Ochan has signed a one-year extension with the UPL champions. He will stay at the club till January 2018," read the message.

His old contract was supposed to expire in January 2017.

Ochan, who has kept four clean sheets, is one of the few players in the league who have played all the 15 games in the first round of this campaign.

He joined KCCA from SC Victoria University in January 2015 on a two-year deal for his second stint at the Lugogo-based club. He had previously played with KCCA in the 2007/08 season.

The 26-year-old is currently in camp with the national team as they prepare for the Nations Cup finals due in Gabon next month.
