Vision Group in early Uganda Cup exit

Vision Group FC is out of the Uganda Cup after suffering a 2-1 defeat to Mpigi United in the Buganda region preliminaries.

The Industrial Area-based side did better last season but came up short this time round in round two.

They had to play a man less after Moses Kigongo was redcarded after two bookable offences.

Round three of the Buganda region preliminaries will be played on Sunday.

The eventual winner of the Uganda Cup gets to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup. Vipers SC are the holders.
