Stanley Guloba cannot wait to cheer on the Cranes after winning the first air ticket to Gabon through the Airtel Tulumbe Gabon promotion's first draw.

The SC Villa and Arsenal fan was among the first 16 people to win different prizes from the first consumer recharge promotion draw, ahead of the Nations Cup next month.

"When I was called first, I thought it was the usual fake calls from conmen but I later got confirmation from the customer care line that I was actually a winner; I'm very excited because I'm going to enjoy an all-expenses paid trip for the first time,"

"Just like I have won, I hope the Cranes can also win in Gabon," Guloba a resident of Bulenga said after receiving his air ticket from Airtel Managing Director Anwar Soussa at Airtel house on Friday.

Guloba and two other winners from subsquent draws, and their partners or friends will watch the Cranes' opening game against Ghana in Port Gentil.

Ronald Jjumba from Jinja, Ashiraf from Mukono and Fred Ssempala from Kyengera emerged the lucky winners of an LG 43 inch flat screen each while John Kasingaalya from Budaka took the first I Phone 7.

Smart phone winners included Allan Ssebatuma, Samuel Ssenkubuge, Susan Selua, Isaac Tuliwamu, Rachael Nakabuye and Jackie Muhairwe.

In this era of conmen almost each of the winners first had their reservations when called. But Airtel's Remmie Kisakye cautioned customers not to be hoodwinked by conmen, saying the winners are all contacted by mobile number 0752600222.

Draws where the different winners emerge are held every week.
