The spirit of Christmas is engulfing and what makes it special is when a simple act of giving brightens someone's life.

The Uganda operation of UAE Exchange, the leading global remittance, foreign exchange and payment solutions brand, did just that by becoming Santa Claus for the orphaned children of Sanyu Babies Home.

The brand distributed food items, medicines and other necessary provisions to the children.

"This is the fourth consecutive year of our association with the orphanage and it is always an overwhelming experience for us when we celebrate Christmas with them. The excitement, joy and sparkle in the eyes of the children when they receive gifts are a delight to watch. As a brand we are committed to transferring happiness and all our efforts are directed towards it. We are glad that our humble support creates joyous moments in the lives of these lesser privileged children," said Unni Krishnan, Regional Head-Africa of UAE Exchange.

The brand is also running a campaign - Smiles spread, when money flies - till 24 December 2016 wherein every time a customer does a bank transfer, UAE Exchange will donate 1000 Ugandan Shillings to Sanyu Babies Home for enhancing the facilities at their premises.

UAE Exchange, known for their customer centricity and business excellence, commenced its operations in Uganda in 2006. In a very short span of time, the brand has earned the trust and patronage of its customers. It offers a plethora of customised financial solutions including money transfer and foreign currency exchange services through its four branches in the country.
